The History of the Court

The County Court in Livno was established by the Law on Courts (“the Official Gazette of the Herzegbosnian County”, number 1/97) published on 7^th February 1997, as judiciary authority in Herzegbosnian County.

Judges of the County Court in Livno were appointed by the decision of the Herzegbosnian County Assembly number 01-13/97 on 29^th May 1997:

• Andrija KOLAK from Tomislavgrad – president of the Court,
• Serafin KELAVA from Livno – judge,
• Nevanka MLADINA from Livno – judge,
• Nijaz KAMBER from Livno – judge.

At its session held on 6^th June 2003 the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council adopted Decision on the appointment of the president and judges to the Cantonal Court of Canton 10 by which were appointed the following judges:

• Nedim BEGIĆ from Tomislavgrad – president of the Court,
• Nijaz KAMBER from Livno – judge,
• Ana KRSTANOVIĆ from Tomislavgrad – judge,
• Ozrenka VIDAČAK from Livno – judge.

The judges took over their official duties on 14^th July 2003.

The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council at the session held on 10^th March 2004 adopted Decision on the appointment of reserve judge to the Cantonal Court of Canton 10 by which was appointed the following judge:

• Emilija ZRNIĆ – judge.

The appointed judge took over her official duty on 1^st April 2004 and her mandate as reserve judge she ended on 1^st April 2005.

At its session held on 17^th December 2009 the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council adopted Decision on the appointment of the judge to the Cantonal Court in Livno by which was appointed the following judge:

• Veljko KREJIĆ from Srbac – judge.

The judge took over his official duty on 1^st February 2010. By the Decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council on 1^st July 2012, he was appointed to the Basic Court in Gradiška as the president of the Court.

At its session, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council adopted Decision on the appointment of the judge to the Cantonal Court in Livno by which was appointed the following judge:

• Željko BOSNIĆ from Drvar – judge.

The judge took over his official duty on 1^st September 2013.

At its session held on 6^th and 7^th November 2019 the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council adopted Decision on the appointment of the judge to the Cantonal Court in Livno by which was appointed the following judge:

• Sofija VRDOLJAK from Livno – judge.

The judge took over his official duty on 1^st December 2019.
